1. Use of This Website

2. Our Services

Tin Lok offers three residential arrangements for older adults:

Our services are lifestyle and community in nature. We are not a licensed care home and do not provide medical, nursing or therapeutic services. Any medical care needed by a resident is the responsibility of the resident and their family to arrange separately.

3. Enquiries and Arrangements

• Submitting an enquiry form or contacting us does not create a binding arrangement. An arrangement is only in place once confirmed in writing by both parties.
• Pricing is subject to change. The monthly fees applicable to your arrangement will be confirmed in your written agreement.
• Availability is subject to capacity. An enquiry does not reserve a place.
• We ask that all information provided during the enquiry and admission process is accurate and complete.

4. Payment Terms

• Monthly fees are due in advance at the beginning of each calendar month, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payment is accepted by bank transfer or such other method as we may agree with you.
• Late payment may result in suspension of services. We will communicate with you before taking any such step.
• Any change to fees will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice.

5. Termination and Notice

• Either party may end an arrangement by giving at least 30 days' written notice, unless the specific terms of a written agreement provide otherwise.
• We may end an arrangement with shorter notice in circumstances where continued residence is not appropriate — for example, where the safety or wellbeing of the resident or other residents is at risk, or where payment obligations have not been met despite reasonable notice.
• Upon termination, any unused prepaid fees will be returned on a pro-rated basis.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Hong Kong law:

• We are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on its content.
• We are not liable for personal injury or loss of personal property except where caused by our negligence or that of our staff.
• We do not accept liability for any loss arising from events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, infrastructure failure, or government action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, layout and design — belongs to Tin Lok or is used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By using this website or engaging with our services, you acknowledge that policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
